Want to Crush All Your Goals? Try this Amazingly Effective System to Maximize Progress and Success

Imagine it’s three months from now. You look back, and realize that even though you’ve been hustling and working nonstop in the last few months, you haven’t experienced major progress or success in your business.

All the hours and hard work you put into your business, gone. You feel that you are on a hamster wheel trapped by the long to-do list of tasks that need to get done in your business, so you work harder and longer hours. But as each day passes by, you continue to feel confused about where to direct your energy and efforts next to avoid wasting any more precious time…

Most entrepreneurs spend their days this way. It’s easy to lose sight of what is important and what to prioritize as every task seems to demand your attention.

This is why having quarterly sync-up meetings are so important. These quarterly check-ins give you the opportunity to regroup, reset, and regain fresh momentum, even if you are a one-person team. And when done effectively, they help you achieve significant progress and growth quarter after quarter.

Now, if you are looking for ways to gain even more momentum, achieve more growth, and make more impact, set aside a time for your next quarterly sync-up and apply this 5-step system to effectively plan your upcoming quarter:

Step #1 Celebrate The Team

Start the meeting or planning session with loads of positive energy! Celebrate your 3 biggest wins as a team from the last quarter. This can be meeting your sales goal, resolving a high priority issue, or improving a certain area of your business that allows you to be significantly more effective. As business owners, we often focus on “the next thing” on our long to-do list and forget about celebrating the wins. Make sure you celebrate what you’ve accomplished, and take in all the positive momentum you deserve and need!

Step #2 Celebrate You & Each Team Player

Next, it’s time to recognize the wins you and each member on your team achieved last quarter. Acknowledge how far each of you has come and your individual contributions. This step gives you the chance to appreciate other team members and helps inspire synergy and strengthen team collaboration! If you’re a solopreneur right now, also take a moment to acknowledge your courage and persistence, and the help and support of a partner or an individual who helped you achieve your milestone this past quarter.

Step #3 Set 3 Biggest Goals

Decide your 3 biggest goals for the next quarter. These are the 3 main things you should focus on in the upcoming 3 months. Anything that comes up later that doesn’t serve any of these 3 goals should not be placed on the top of your to-do’s. Make these goals tangible and measurable so you can confidently check them off at the end of the next quarter. For example, try “get x customers” or “achieve x dollars in revenue” instead of “get more sales.” Or say “build and execute a content marketing strategy and workflow” rather than “improve marketing.”

Step #4 Identify Urgent Issues to Resolve

List 3 or less high priority issues that need to be resolved. These may be certain clients that are costing you more than you expect and maintain, inefficiency in your business that is taking up too much of your time and energy, or certain area that is costing you high expense. Identify your most urgent issues and work towards removing them by the end of next quarter.

Step #5 Make 1 Major Improvement

Find 1 major area for improvement. This should be an area that would help you create more with less time once improved. In this next quarter, you will build a workflow to increase your effectiveness in this area, you also consider delegation, elimination, or automation to free up your time and energy so you can focus on other things that are more important.
