#1 Know Your Ideal Customers
Know your people. Besides demographics, find out where they hang out, where they go for information, what they like to read or watch, how do they spend their time, etc. More importantly, find out what they are struggling with, what they are aspired to, and what they truly desire. Your target customer is looking for your offer not just for your services or products, they need what you offer to get to where they want to go. Find out what their emotional desire is, and apply that across your marketing and branding.

#2 Show Up Consistently
The NO.1 that makes people buy is trust. How do you build trust into your brand? You show up consistently for your audience with value-adding content. Prove to them that you’re their go-to person in your field, you got them. And when they need your services or products, you’d be the one that comes to their minds. Stick to a schedule and share information that your ideal audience finds helpful, Focus on building trust first before you ask them to make the purchase.

#3 Start Saying No
Spend your energy on what matters, and start saying no to inquiries that distract you from moving forward to where you want your business to go. Now that you know who your target audience and dream clients are, start saying NO to opportunities that don’t align with your goal to build a business around your dream clients. When you’re trying to do all the things and cater to different groups of people, you confuse people. Your dream clients won’t know that you specialize in serving them, and they would prefer working with someone else who does cater specifically to them and their needs.
